So, I'm thinking that one section of the adventure will be a peaceful (or at least non-violent) encounter with a hobgoblin war camp. Jakub the Blue knows the tribe has information on the location of the dungeon and has worked with them before, earning a grudging respect and a writ of free passage from their leader.

While Jakub is negotiating with the leader for the information, the camp is attacked by Elite Minds. The PCs must help fight off a considerable force of psionic bugbears, earning the respect of the hobgoblins.

A hulking, tattoed goblinoid wearing a shirt of shining silvery metal advances on you. A blade of glowing energy extends from his clenched fist, while a circle of force wraps about his left arm. His eyes seem to glow with the same aura.

In an alcove at the far end of this stone hall stands a pedestal topped by a thin silver crown.
