So, I was pleased to load up this week's issue of Pyramid magazine to find an article I had submitted a while back on the table of contents. Turns out it was the one article I had submitted from my GMail account, which I check at most once a week. The article had been rushed into the issue to fill a hole in their word count, and the editor sent the acceptance at 12:48 a.m. this morning.
Here's a link to the article's sample page (first 100 words).

Not much to report. The party descended into the cave below the Ecaterine Husk. There, they encountered a pair of babau demons that quickly became a quartet (16% odds of both demons summoning help). After a respectable fight, two demons were killed, one was dispelled, and the last greater teleported away into the night.
Deeper in the cave, they found a magic circle and a runestone beneath which was buried the phylactery containing St. Ecaterina's pulverized bones and the Holy Symbol of Ravenkind. A combined round of Knowledge checks managed to uncover all of the lore about the relic and how to unlock its powers.
At the very end of the session, Jamie's fighter received a sending from their superior in the Lightbringers asking for a report on their mission.

We played Ravenloft again last night.
The party left the Vistani camp and set out for the crossroads where they would rest that night before climbing up to Lysaga Hill in search of the Holy Symbol of Ravenkind. Since the cards told them that the Sunsword was buried somewhere at the crossroads, Justin and Jamie decided to dig around while the others were sleeping. Ben's priest didn't much fancy disturbing the dead in Barovia, so they let him think they were just taking watch. Once he went to sleep, they stole his helmet and used it to dig up graves.
In the course of their search, two vampire spawn emerged from the ever-present Barovian mists but were quickly driven off by fire and an ineffective ghostly bard. They recovered the Sunsword shortly thereafter.
In the morning, Jamie gave the Sunsword to Ireena Kolyana since her own weapon of choice is the greatsword, not the bastard sword. Then the party climbed up to Lysaga Hill, arriving under storm clouds shortly before sundown. They then faced the Caller in Darkness hiding in the ruins of St. Ekaterina's tower. Ben was a little surprised to find out that it could still attack him with its spell-like abilities even when he successfully turned it. An ego whip, a mind blast, and a psychic crush later and Ben was down 4 Cha and 18 hp and Ireena had dropped. But magic missiles, lightning bolts, and searing light from the spellcasters made short work of the incorporeal psychic undead.
That's where we ended, with Justin's rogue finding a trap door down into the depths below the tower.
