Feeling Silly

|

I had a little bit of a breakdown yesterday after work. Jamie had a house call at a client's house, and I had agreed to drive her. This entailed me packing up Jamie's massage table and loading it into my car. I had also promised to take some mail to the post office, since we were out of stamps. Since it's the law that if you're running late for something in the first place, there must be an inordinate number of people ahead of you in line at the post office... Anyway, the whole thing combined with whatever unnamed stress I've got floating around and left me in a pretty messy place. But I got over it.

Did manage to get home in time for the season finale of Lost, though. Excellent. Not the mindfuck of last year's finale, and thankfully so. I don't think I could take another 8 months of the kind of speculation I had after last year. Rock on, Damon, Carlton. You know your shit. (And, hey, it actually was a frozen donkey wheel.)

Summer Movies

|

Last weekend, Jamie and I saw both The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. In addition to filling our quota of title, both were enjoyable films. Prince Caspian had a lot fewer moments that made me go, "Wait a minute..."

So far, rating summer movies:

  1. Iron Man
  2. The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
  3. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
  4. Speed Racer

The rest of my movie-going dance card: The Incredible Hulk on June 13; followed by Wall-E on June 27; Hancock, July 4; Hellboy II: The Golden Army, July 11; The Dark Knight, July 18; and The X-Files: I Want to Believe, July 25.

Wow...

I was just rickrolled by ENWorld user Olgar Shiverstone.

For the sake of completeness, here you go.
